Minor procedures are done at the clinic under local anesthesia, walk-in and in a single visit.

Which procedures are done?

• Removal of moles, warts and small skin lesions
• Sebaceous cysts and superficial lipomas
• Removal of foreign bodies under the skin
• Abscess drainage
• Ingrown toenails
• Wound suturing

What is the procedure like?

The area is cleaned, numbed with a local injection and the procedure is performed. You will feel pressure but not pain. Depending on the case, it is closed with stitches and covered. Most of these take 15 to 40 minutes, and you walk out afterwards.

Before coming

• Say if you take blood thinners or daily aspirin
• Mention any allergy to lidocaine or antiseptics
• If the lesion has changed in size, color or shape, say so: that guides the decision
• Wear comfortable clothing that leaves the area accessible

About moles

A mole that changes size or color, has irregular edges, itches or bleeds is assessed before removal, and the sample is sent for analysis where appropriate. Suspicious lesions are not removed for cosmetic reasons alone without being studied.

Aftercare

Keep the area clean and dry, avoid direct sun on the scar for the first weeks, and come back if spreading redness, pus or fever appear. You are told when the stitches come out.

Monday through Sunday, 9 AM to 9 PM. The cost is given before starting.
